Saturday...

Today was partially spent on the road, taking our daughter back to the start of her second semester of sophmore year. (sad face) Tomorrow the other daughter goes back to start the second half of junior year. (sad face again) So I had to do some sewing to lighten the mood.

I finished up my Kindle cover. I used a pattern by BirdfulStitches. The pattern was very easy to use, with options for Kindles, Nooks, and iPads, as well as instructions for determining your own sizing. I mixed it up by strip piecing some of my favorite black and white prints, with a touch of red. I love the results! I will definitely be adding these to my Etsy shop.
